MEET ME AFTER THE SHOW(1951).


Meet Me After the Show (1951). Musical. Cast: Betty Grable, MacDonald Carey, Rory Calhoun, Eddie Albert and Fred Clark. The film was one of Grable's last musical films for Fox.

Delilah Lee, is trained by her husband Jeff Ames, for his new Broadway show. Delilah becomes so successful that she feels that Jeff thinks of her more as an asset than a wife. When the shows backer Gloria Carstairs begins a affair with Jeff, Delilah leaves him and heads for Miami, but.. regrets it later and tries to win him back. She pretends to have a romance with a Miami playboy. When Jeff learns of the affair he heads to Miami. But is lead on quite a hilarious chase until she finally allows herself to get caught. Highlighted by several wonderful musical numbers. You will find more dancing than is usual in this Grable film.
